For those who would like to discover the region in a different way, we suggest you to discover the numerous equestrian centers of the region. Indeed, the Domaine has in its surroundings, several centers or equestrian farms offering various services.
A few steps away from the Domaine is the Mas de Rossière equestrian farm (www.masderossiere.fr). This equestrian farm offers you all year round, horseback riding in the heart of the surrounding scrubland as well as horseback riding lessons for all levels. You will also be able to go on horseback for a two-hour ride to discover the village of Lussan which is classified among the most beautiful villages of France. However, it is imperative to contact the Mas de Rossière at least one day in advance for any type of request, whether it is for a one-hour ride or another.
If you like horseback riding, you can also go to Méjannes-le-Clap, a village located only 12 minutes away by car. In this village there is a horse-riding center which welcomes young and old every day from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm in July and August and offers you one hour pony rides for the little ones and one or two hour rides or even a full day ride for the older ones. Donkey rentals are also available.
In a more particular context, linked to autism, we propose you to go to the Ranch Equi-plaisir located at Saint-Laurent-la-Vernède. This ranch is an association whose aim is to welcome children and teenagers with autism and to offer them in a calm and natural environment activities in line with their needs. Among the proposed activities, your child will have the possibility to be in contact with different animals, more particularly, with horses, which it will be possible to brush, feed or even ride, on the occasion, for a nice little walk. Other activities can be proposed, according to your wishes and needs. For all inquiries we advise you to directly contact the ranch manager, Mr. Mercier, at 06-84-37-69-55.
Other equestrian centers are available, for more information you can go directly to the site: www.tourismegard.com/randonnees-equestres
